Andrew Ighade, MD

PEDIATRICIAN

Dr. Ighade completed his residency program at Howard University Hospital in Washington D.C. in 2002. He has been practicing pediatrics in the Charlotte area for 20 years and has won various community awards for excellence from reputable organizations, including the Above and Beyond award from Community Care Partners of Greater Mecklenburg (CCPGM). Dr. Ighade is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatricians and the American Medical Academy. He is married to Anne Ighade, and they have three sons and a daughter.

Tori Roed, CPNP-PC

PEDIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER

Tori Roed is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care and has been a provider at MidCarolina Pediatrics since November 2019. She attended Vanderbilt University, where she earned her Bachelors degree in 2017 and her Masters degree in 2019. She is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

Caroline Madden, CPNP-PC

PEDIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER

Caroline Madden is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care. She initially graduated from Elon University with her BA in Strategic Communications (2018). She then went back to nursing school and completed her BSN (2020) and MSN (2021) at Emory University. While working as an RN during her masters, Caroline specialized in pediatric hematology/oncology and pediatric behavioral health. She lives in Charlotte with her pug Zoe.

Christina Morataya, CPNP-PC

PEDIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER

Chrissy is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care. She graduated from Lee University with her Bachelor's in Nursing in 2020 and began working as an ER nurse. After having two years of experience as a nurse, she went back to school and graduated with her Master's from Cedarville University in December of 2024.
